I once saw the Grey Lady and it wasn't only her that manifested herself.

It's one episode that sticks in my mind and still makes me laugh.

The Christmas special was on the other day.  I didn't watch it, but it's the one where her who was Dick Emery's 'Lampwick's' daughter was the post woman.


I mentioned elsewhere that I thought she was wearing a GPO badge with a Newcastle (or somewhere) ID on it.

The exact setting of the series was never specified, but Hull is a near guess.

By the way I watched I watched the Dad's Army thing, most impressed with Rod Hull and one or two others. Good show all round really.

I have been waiting for someone to ask me that and in November I was having a time of it, after snapping one of me front tooths I decided to get me gob fixed and it took quite a lot of dental treatment and that was on top of all the usual crap I have to deal with, so it left me feeling how that duck is looking and I am still not reet (in'th head)
