irene wrote:Not well-up with technology.....was hoping my "Thanks Our Joseph" would have gone onto Joseph's "Welcome Our Irene" message. Not sure what I'm doing yet but will learn. Yes, I am a Wiganer, Tonker! And thanks for your help, Corky.....I'll get there! Certainly seems a friendly site.
Good evening Irene. Ignore that there Ringy Corkspot, he's an amateur!
Firstly, it seems that our Admin has sorted you but if you click on 'Profile' in the banner it'll take you to your own profile where you'll see a number of different tabs. If you click on 'Notifications' it'll open a page wherein you can tick/untick stuff according to what you want/don't want. Similarly with the 'Preferences' tab. Best thing to do is have a play and learn your way around.
If you want to quote a single post then just click on the 'Quote' button and it'll take you to the 'Reply' box wherein you'll see the quote and you can type your message underneath it.
If you want to quote more than one post (as in this instance) then click on 'Select/Unselect multi quote' in all the posts you want to quote then click on 'Post Reply'. The reply box will appear containing all the quotes you've chosen.
irene wrote:I like quizzes, Mac. However, the last post I have which came on automatically was from Tonker at around 4 o'clock. I have got other kind messages since, but they appear in "Notifications" and I have to click on that to receive them. Is this how replies are received on Wigan Rejects or have I pressed something I shouldn't have? You are all so patient with a novice! x.
We all enjoy Ray's Friday night quizzes which start at 20.00 hours O'clock pm promptly according to Ray. But it never does!! You will, however, have to be careful of that there bloody weatherwotsit. She turned me into a frog y'know!
I will now take a screenshot of this in the hope that it will aid you. Can't get all the post on though.

See what I mean? He's been here virtually since the inception* and still doesn't know how to use the 'Quote' facility! You'll soon overtake him.

It was an immaculate contraption, rather than inception.
I think there's even a thread about it.

Hello, Irene.
My brother, Corky has told me about you, so welcome indeed. As I live in Barbados I do not have time to get involved with this Wigan Rejects site as much as I would like to, dear girl. However thou art much welcome here.
So sorry to hear about the people on the other Wigan site. They appear to be disillusioned with reality. Enough said.
Welcome and enjoy these wonderful people called Rejects.

Glad you managed to get here, Our Irene. It's far more tranquil here, no trouble or squabbling, just nice folk exchanging views. Just ask for help if you need it, we have the excellent Mac and Mrs Admin to hand for all our needs.
So pleased you are here.
