Latest convictions from the borough, Wigan and Leigh magistrates’ courts:

Derek Anthrax aged 28, of Pottery Lane, Wigan. Assaulting a milkman, criminal damage to a milk float, community order, £270 compensation.

Sage Moonblood aged 29, of Carlise Street, Pemberton, theft of a packet of cornflakes from Tesco, £380 fine, £250 compensation

Wongo Bupa aged 22, of Marsh Green, Wigan, drunk and disorderly, assault, urinating in public, criminal damage, fined £100, £170 costs, Banned from Snatch & Trough public house for 12 months.

Umbusco Mohammed Asswad, aged 79 of Donut Plains, Kitt Green, Wigan, speeding, driving without a licence, driving without insurance, £100 fine, £150 costs, disqualified from driving for six months.


Arshad Gumbo Mohammed Banjo III aged 32, theft, discharged conditionally for 12 months.

Gary Walsh, aged 28, Simpleton Avenue, Norley hall, Wigan, cruelty to hamsters  £120 fine, £30 costs, disqualified from obtaining hamsters for six months. (PICTURED)

Candice Slobbery, of The Horseshoe, Wigan, caused a person to fear violence would be used against them by leaving voicemails on their phone, 12 weeks in prison suspended for 12 months, rehabilitation activity requirement, unpaid work requirement.

Arthur Van Bastard, 94 of Darlingtin Street, Wigan, possesion of Pornographic Magazines with intent to supply, £1000 fine and forced to complete 100 press ups in front of the judge.

OK I admit it. My real name is Wongo Bupa, but they got the details wrong,
I don't go in the Snatch & Trough.

It doesn't go into details, I wonder if he was putting them in his gerbil enclosure.
