Re: Origin of coronavirus?

Posted this before. I never get colds, but several years ago, I got a cold that lasted 5 weeks. When it went I had no sense of smell or taste. Still don't.
I wonder if I had a strain of the virus?
I strongly believe the virus was man made and not from animals.
Scientists said on TV that the virus cannot be transferred from animal to man, then one corrected herself and said, 'Except for the bat that started it.'

Pirbright Institute scientists invent viruses to counter other viruses. There's a patent somewhere online that shows descriptions of the virus's purpose. One refers to pigs and mentions bronchitis and respiratory problems which can / can't be transferred to humans. It shows the countries that this invented virus has been sold to, some corporation in Wuhan, China is on the list.
That particular patent seems to have disappeared!
'tissue tropism' means the strength of a virus and the rate at which it develops and reproduces. I imagine 'extended' tissue tropism means a stronger and faster developing virus.

Too much Zinc can give you stomach and bowel cancer!
Jimmy once said, "your body will only take whatever it needs out of the food you eat. It shits the rest out, as waste. You don't need to take anything 'extra' if you eat t'right food"!

Too much of anything is harmful.
Jimmy is right, if your body doesn't neeed it, it evacuates it.

A lot of sense in the Swedish approach. Lots of businesses have closed never to return. Reduced numbers of businesses takes away the competitiveness in that Industry and we all know what happens then. Joe Public foots the bill.

Whatever it's origin, why don't they refer to it with it's proper title - SARS-CoV-2 ?

Sweden should reach it's herd immunity in a couple of weeks, be interesting to seee what happens then. We (The UK) were going to try that but decided late to go into lockdown. Reason for that is not to prevent anyone getting it, but to stop everyone getting it at the same time. I personally would prefer they kept up with the herd immunity and protected the elderly and infirm.
India (Pakistan) will be one of the best trials for herd immunity, almost impossible to keep them in lockdown.
