We attended to day, it was almost the same as last year but less of it, more of a George Formby day than a armed services day, but hey, it was good,

I saw some good people there. but I also saw many politicians and the like looking for votes.

One ex serviceman I know who is a manager in wigan wore his medals(Rightly) proudly. I called him Sylvest.
He hadn't a clue.

Before today's parade at 10.30am in Mesnes Park, there was a short service and wreath laying in Mesnes Park at the Boer Memorial. All troops and marchers are now lined up and ready to kick start this year's Armed Forces Day.
