There's a bloke across the road from me, I'm guessing late 20's/early 30's, he's a window fitter and has a long wheel base Merc van, this Morning he did't go to work and I wondered why, I'm guessing at, maybe no work or no fuel or sick ??, Anyrode about 10 am a RAC van came to his house and the RAC is a woman, well a girl really, she looked about early 20's red hair and smart, So he meets her at the door and he's pointing to the rear wheel, He's got a puncture, he goes back in the house and leaves this young girl to change his tyre,
well done to the girl but, I'd be shamed to death of letting her do that on her own,

I can understand if he was on a motorway but not outside his own house.

If I was king of the world, no one would be allowed to drive on the road unless they could change a wheel, a light bulb and top up the oil, Mad

I would have taken the wheel off, and either used another vehicle to take it to be repaired, or got a mate to take ne and the wheel to be repaired.Your neighbour must be a sledge

defo a girlie motorist, Years ago I was traveling to work in Pendle up the M65 early Morning and got a puncture in the offside rear , dark rainy morning and i changed it on the hard shoulder, It was very scary because when a wagon comes past, the car was rocking on the jack but it had to be done, To get to my spare I had to unload all my tools and equipment out, Just as I finished and loaded everything back PC plod drew up behind me and said, " your not supposed to do that, Its unsafe, you must crawl along the hard shoulder with hazards on to the next junction, then get off the M/Way and fix it there" , I knew that but, I'd have a wrecked tyre by then So, I just thanked them for the advice and moved off,
